Evolving and flourishing in an age of disruption: The role of spirituality in
realignment & transformation
|
June 18 - 21st, 2025 - University of Calgary, Calgary, Alberta, Canada
The transdisciplinary conference aims to explore the evolving role of spirituality in addressing systemic and social transformation. In an era marked by rapid changes and global challenges, cultivating relationships and connectedness, belonging, and well-being are essential for fostering personal, community, and global flourishing. This conference will bring together academics, practitioners, students, and advocates interested in the intersection of spirituality and systemic change. Our conference is fast approaching and we are excited to see many of you there. There is still time to register in person until June 12, but if you can't make it to Calgary we'd love to see you virtually. Day 1 of the conference on Thursday June 19 will be streamed online with tickets available for $89. Please join us to hear keynote speakers Elder and UNBC Chancellor Darlene McIntosh and Dr. Lisa Miller, author of The Awakened Brain and an afternoon of stimulating workshops. Choose the Online Option when you register to participate from wherever you are. We would like to thank our generous conference sponsors: The United Way of Calgary, The University of Calgary Faculty of Social Work, The University of Northern British Columbia Faculty of Social Work, and The Society for Spirituality and Social Work
