You can find conference volunteer opportunities here. ![]() Would you like to contribute to our upcoming Summer Newsletter? We are open to any ideas you have for a short written contribution related to spirituality and social work! Simply send us your contribution (approximately 150 words or less - longer submissions may be accepted), via email (send to info@spiritualityandsocialwork.ca) and we will consider publishing your submission in our next newsletter! Submissions for the summer newsletter are due Monday, June 20, 2022. Submissions received after this date will be considered for our fall newsletter! Here are some ideas to get you started: EVENT REVIEWS Did you attend any of our spring events? (Our spring events include: Yoga for Mental Health on March 24, Centering Ourselves with Consciousness to Serve Others and Self-Heal on April 13; The U.S. SSSW and CSSSW Present: Spirituality, Cultural Diversity and Social Work on April 21; and Spirituality, Ethics, and Social Work Competence on Thu, May 19, 2022). Send us a review of the event and we will consider publishing it in our newsletter! COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT For each quarterly newsletter, we would like to have a brief community spotlight. Do you know a practitioner, educator, and/or scholar doing interesting work or who can offer insight into the realm of spirituality and social work? Fill out our simple Community Spotlight Google form with a short write-up of the person you nominate, with their consent, and we will consider featuring them in our newsletter! RESEARCH CORNER In our newsletters, we aim to feature recent articles published by CSSSW members related to spirituality and social work! Have you recently published or read any current and relevant literature in the realm of spirituality and social work? Email us at info@spiritualityandsocialwork.ca to share the title and abstract of the publication, and we will consider sharing it in our newsletter! We hope to receive some ideas from you soon!
